The Group of Vegetable Producers Greengrow Sp. z o.o. was established in 2008 on the initiative of vegetable producers.Today, it is the most modern vegetable farm in Europe, using innovations in its everyday work. Fields are cultivated using: system of parallel navigation used in John Deere, New Holland tractors, self-propelled, two-row DeWolf harvesters for carrot and many professional agricultural machinery.Such solutions significantly facilitate the work and shorten the harvest time, which is of major importance, having the farm area of more than 460 hectares.
Vegetable storage house was built based on Europe-wide innovative solutions used in vegetable industry. The most up-to-date vegetable washing, sorting and packing line is equipped with video-photo-sorters of Danish producer, Newtec; it is a real milestone with regard to carrot calibration. We are the first to use such equipment in Poland.
Unquestionable advantage of the storage house is the capacity, which is 9 thousand metric tons.With regard to the above, as the few ones, we are able to deliver vegetables of excellent quality for nearly 11 months a year – cooled to the temperature of 5°C.We deliver them directly to a customer with own refrigerated trucks.
We are GLOBAL G.A.P. certified, which is the evidence of sanitary safety and warranty of high quality of products. We have also impplemented and certified British Retail Consortium (BRC) - FOR FOOD SAFETY.
We are, therefore, sure that the whole process:starting from sowing, through nurturing, harvesting, sorting, storing, sale and ending with transportation, is under strict control.
